#448 - I miss you, Syf.

See all the smiles we had during SYF. The feeling is like "Finally, it's our day. It's the day that we prove to the others that choir is not a C.O.P choir".
In the music room, we spent hours to prepare ourselves. And, took lots of pictures <3
Before SYF , we were so nervous. Kept reminding one another about the dynamics and the number of counts we need to hold, which part and so. And remind one another the minor details, and not to talk to loudly or shout. Just whisper. On the way to SOTA, it started raining. Me, Natalie and the rest were so worried that we would go sharp.
We listened to our recordings, and the bus was kinda quiet.
At SOTA, the rain was still heavy. In the holding room, practiced with Mr Wong. We went sharp.
Outside, waiting to go onto the stage. My section kept reminding one another again. Non-stop. Kept repeating and repeating.
It's our turn. Me and Natalie leaded the whole choir out. And Mr Wong came in. We were all nervous. Started singing. Went a bit off, but we ended the 'Aka Tonbo' kind of nicely.
Went down the stage, and some of us cried. I have no idea why we cry to. But, we just did. Maybe, we felt that "it's finally over, the hardwork for 5 months is finally over". The more we thought about it, the harder we cried. Hugged one another, getting emotional. Haha.
Finally, it's the time for the results. Natalie, Grace, Kelly and me were so nervous, and we prayed for a silver. We held each other hands tightly when the emcee said "School #52-Loyang Secondary...." And.... we gotten a "Bronze" Yeah, some of us were sad, as we thought we could achieved a Silver. Some cried again. Had a debrief there, it's kind of sad. The atmosphere was weird too.
On the way back, in the bus. We screamed here and there, talked and played. Planned a celebration dinner. Some went.
We really went crazy. Haha, maybe not really that crazy.

That day was the best <3, we finally broke the "C.O.P curse". And, the sec 4s and sec 5s managed to step down with an achievement, bronze and not COP. At least, they have brought glory to choir. Same for sec 3s, since it's our last SYF. And it's the sec 3s turn to take over. We shall train the next SYF batch well :D And, let them get a GOLD for us ^^v. I believe we can do it.
